A Day of Service

This morning, I braved the freezing cold to volunteer with Trees Atlanta, and I was honored to be joined by so many incredible women. As we planted trees and connected with the earth, I was reminded of the power of service—not just for our communities but for our own wellness and well-being.

There’s something deeply grounding about getting closer to the earth. It’s a reminder of our connection to something greater and the importance of nurturing ourselves while giving back. Acts of service, big or small, are not just acts of kindness—they’re acts of self-care.

Today, as we honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., let’s remember that it’s a day on, not a day off. Service is a cornerstone of community and personal growth. It’s a way to foster wellness in both our hearts and the spaces we inhabit.

I encourage you to find your own way to give back. Volunteer with a local organization, help a neighbor, or simply spread kindness in your community. When we serve, we not only uplift others but also nourish our own well-being.

Together, let’s make service a part of our journey toward holistic wellness.

In service and wellness,
